One of the creepiest and saddest locations in New Jersey will be available for public visits starting in August 2022. Ellis Island, a major destination for immigrants arriving in the early 20th century, was centred around the hospital. The Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital was operational from 1902 to 1951. Presently, it is a component of the Statue of Liberty Monument.

It provided medical care to thousands of immigrants for a range of illnesses before closing permanently. Even so, this hospital remained a testament to individuals who sacrificed much to pursue the American Dream, even if it had been abandoned for many years.
